A few photos from our opening day! It was a great afternoon with some very special guest speakers, and of course the art. In all, we had 60 entries! Thank you to all who help support this special event and of course all of the talented artists! Stay tuned for our next special event coming up in May 2013 during Mental Health Week at STEGH.

7th Annual Healing Palette Art Exhibit
November 10, 2012 2:00- 4:00 p.m. in the STEGH Artrium
Greetings All!
We are excited to announce our upcoming 7th Annual Healing Palette Art Exhibit at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital! We will be holding the exhibit in the afternoon, taking full advantage of the wonderful natural light in the atrium. This year's opening gala will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.. There will be FREE parking at the hospital for this event, as well as some very special Guest Speakers, food and drinks, and of course exciting pieces of art, poetry, photoraphy, and sculptures - all for sale!
If you would like to submit your art please click on the link below for our "Call to Artists" submission form. We are accepting art work from November 3 to 8th. All info is on the "Call to Artists" forms.
We look forward to another exciting exhibit celebrating Art as Expession of Spirit ! The Healing Palette is a project creating by and for people with mental health issues.

The Healing Palette Art Exhibit at STEGH 2011
This year's Healing Palette Art Exhibit was a great success thanks to the support of St. Thomas Elgin Geberal Hospital! STEGH let us use their beautiful space in the atrium - the natural light in this area was perfect for this venue. In fact it was so perfect that STEGH has invited back again next year! In total we exhibited 66 paintings and sales were very impressive! A special thanks to all the artists that participated this year - the art pieces were amazing. This year we found them to be very colourful and large. Please visit back and I will be posting more photos of this special event along with all of this years entries.....

You may drop them off at Canvas and Quill Studios, 563 Talbot St., St. Thomas. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 5:00. Saturday's closed at 3:00 p.m.

The Healing Palette Art Exhibit 2008 - A Great Success!
Once again The Healing Palette was well attended with much enthusiasm and support from the community! Special thanks to all artists who submitted their inspirational masterpieces! A heartfelt thanks to the Trillium House Fine Art Gallery - Grace and Wayne, for graciously allowing us to exhibit at their gallery and of course to the Masonic Temple Hall for renting out their space for the opening night gala.
We have uploaded some art work from the show along with some special guest speakers. Please note that there are more photos of the submitted art pieces to be uploaded. We are currently gathering up photos from our gracious volunteers who took photos during the exhibit.
On behalf of The Friends of The Healing Palette Committee we thank all involved who helped make this annual event a success!
